About Croatia Croatia is “a little land, which has been so ineffably blessed, whose
inhabitants are gentle, hard-working and intelligent, an oasis of civilazation...”
(Alexandre Lauriston, Napoleonic general)
Although Croatia is not a large country, it is a land that is Mediterranean, Central European, mountainous, flat, coastal and continental. Characterized by a diversity and wealth of nature, a unique cultural heritage and traditions which have been kept alive over centuries, Croatia is one of the most beautiful destinations in Europe Some of the best-known towns along the 1777 km long coastline with its 1,185
islands, islets and reefs, are Dubrovnik, Split, Trogir and Porec, all of them
listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Zadar is the geographic centre of the Croatian Adriatic and at the same time
the cultural, and administrative center of Northern Dalmatia. During its existence
it was for many centuries the home of the Ilyrian Liburni and for 1000 years

was a popular destination among European nobility and is today a popular conference
